50 Year Warranty
THURMAN HOMES is proud that we ONLY use a
“MAX DESIGN” foundation. This extraordinary foundation takes advantage of
the same engineering formulas used to build our nations highways. We begin by a series of piers that are 15 feet deep, or to
the bedrock. These pier holes are
filled with steel rebar and concrete. The foundation begins with concrete beams
that are 12" wide and 30" deep and are reinforced by four 3/4" thick rigid
steel bars. The 5" thick slab that rest upon these beams is reinforced with
1/2" thick steel rebar. These bars create a mat of steel with bars every twelve
inches in both directions. This creates an extremely strong and durable
foundation. Because of this we can easily grant a 50 year warranty on our
foundations.

However for your protection it is backed by the 2-10 warranty company.
The first year of your warranty is a ‘bumper to bumper’ and covers all defects in materials and workmanship. The second year will cover all the mechanical systems from the plumbing to the air conditioning to your water and sewer systems. Thurman Homes is proud to offer a total ten (10) year warranty on major structural defects from foundation to trusses and rafters.
